Hello everyone! My name is anyla I had Mrs.Lucas class in I think the 7th or 8th grade. During that point in time I was really lost in life going through normal teenage struggles. I signed up for her class one year and fell in love with the type of teacher she was.. she always listened and always had a helping hand whenever she could. I remember the days when I had her class they were the most exciting! Even if I was having a bad day. For the longest she was my mentor and I still consider her to be my mentor! She’s taught me a lot and being 21 years old now I thank her for everything she’s taught me because without her I’d still be that lost teenager. If you ever have her class pay attention!! The things she teaches you now can help you through life, when you get your first job, when you go to college, when you start a side hustle… it all adds up and it’s all important information. She truly made me love learning when I struggled to learn. Keep growing, keep shining you are all so important… never give up on yourself and always be the best YOU no matter what anybody says..

I feel like Ms.Lucas created a stimulating environment where I could grow and learn, but with the virtual teacher, we can not do things the way that would be best for us. We do not learn much virtually and what we do learn we forget as soon as we step out of the class.
Mrs. Lucas was my teacher for Business class 5 years ago and she is a teacher I will always remember! I was very involved in the school cheer team and she was always there for great advice and to support me, she even let me go outside to show her my tricks! She brought interest to learning with brain breaks and other students had encouraged me to take Business class because of how great she is and I don’t regret it. She was very ambitious and had a passion to bring Lucas life skills to life and I am so proud of her accomplishments!
Mrs. Lucas taught me 6 years ago when I was in Middle School. I remember her class being really fun because we had brain breaks where we played games or went outside which was really helpful to students. I also learned a lot of helpful life skills!
Mrs. Lucas was a teacher who changed my view on teachers. Her generosity and true care for her students made coming to school exciting. Best teacher I’ve known to this day.
